We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Marketing Technology Specialist in the Washington, DC or Atlanta, GA office at Eversheds Sutherland (US) LLP. We are searching for someone who wants to be a valued contributor and member of a talented and dynamic team of lawyers, paralegals and staff.
The Senior Marketing Technology Specialist supports the marketing, communications, business development, and client service goals of the firm. General responsibilities include providing technical and analytical support for key initiatives and applications utilized by the Client and Practice Development Department. This includes: e-communications tools, mobile apps, video, analytics, social media, the firm’s client relationship management (CRM) program, website, minisites, blogs, and other marketing technology projects.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Collaborates in pursuit of producing and implementing innovative marketing technology solutions.
Supports the creation and usage of tools and resources to advance the business development goals of the firm.
Advises on best practices for support, training, and rollout of marketing systems.
Coordinates the InterAction strategic business development coaching sessions with practice groups.
Provides guidance on social media and leads the firmwide initiatives surrounding social media.
Manages the rollout and implementation of new mobile event apps.
Manages the implementation of new WordPress blogs and minisites.
Provides analytics and insights surrounding the firm’s online assets using programs such as Google Analytics and Lead Forensics.
Coordinates the firm’s CRM (InterAction) initiative—including utilization, upgrades, and ongoing user adoption. Serves as a resource to attorneys, practice group leaders, and business development managers in designing efficient and effective strategies for their customized use of InterAction.
Advises on and implements best practices for InterAction, e-communications, and other marketing technology initiatives. Conducts training and develops documentation for CPD and the general user population surrounding these initiatives.
Identifies data integrity projects and works with the Marketing Technology Specialists and Coordinators to implement targeted clean-up efforts within InterAction. Oversees data quality for contact data in InterAction.
Works with the Director of Marketing Technology on videocasting, which includes videoshoots resulting in under five minute clips on legal hot topics.
Engages the project team in the design and development of mobile apps.
Assists in coordinating ongoing enhancements to the firm’s website.
Supervises a team of three.
Provides backup support for others on the marketing technology team.
Other projects as assigned by the Director of Marketing Technology.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
A Bachelor’s degree is required from an accredited college or university.
4+ years overseeing an InterAction initiative with active involvement in training/support, coordinating user adoption, overseeing data quality, and participating in upgrades/QA testing. 2+ years coordinating email marketing campaigns with involvement in creating campaigns within the Vuture eMarketing platform. 1+ years working with the Google Analytics application and coordinating the overall social media initiative for an organization. Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop) and video editing software. Working in a law firm or professional services environment is required. A solid working knowledge of computers and high proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook as well as the internet is required.
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills are required. Detail-oriented, organized and the ability to multi-task and prioritize workloads.
Excellent computer skills and knowledge of MS Office Suite with high proficiency in Outlook are required. Advanced knowledge of Excel/Word/PowerPoint and internet research is also required. Must be extremely proficient in InterAction database software.
