Brede Exposition Services is seeking a Director of Sales to lead a team that solicits local and national accounts comprised of trade shows, conventions, corporate events and custom exhibit booths. The ideal candidate will be able to act in a lead sales capacity as well as being an effective manager and administrator.
Primary Job Duties:
Negotiate and book new and profitable business contracts through networking and pursuing leads.
Manage a team comprised of a combination of sales, sales assistants and account executives.
Set goals, train, teach and inspire.
Meet with existing clients to discuss their evolving needs.
Write and present business proposals based on client’s needs.
Stay up-to- date on all reporting and benchmark requirements.
Attend pertinent networking events and maintain memberships in local and national industry organizations.
Track business expenses and meet or exceed budget projections.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
